Newcastle United have won two awards for November, with Alan Pardew winning Manager of the Month, and Tim Krul winning Player of the Month.
In a month which started with The Magpies near the bottom of the table, by the end of it, they were just outside of the Champions League places due to four very impressive victories out of four games.
Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Norwich City and West Brom were all beaten by Pardew’s men in the month of November and those victories guided them to fifth in the Premier League table.
As for Krul, he conceded just two goals in those four games and put in one of the best individual performances ever from a goalkeeper against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
