Lukas Podolski was set to play against Everton this weekend but pulled out of the match due to the eventuality that he could be on his way out of the club this week.
The German’s future with the club has been under intense speculation following the arrival of Barcelona star Alexis Sanchez and now Sky Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio claims his departure is waiting to happen.
There are reports that Serie A champions Juventus approached the Gunners yesterday to officially begin talks for the transfer and negotiations are reportedly going well as the Turin side look to sign Podolski on a season-long loan with the option of a permanent switch at the end of it.
Bundesliga sides Wolfsburg and Bayer Leverkusen are also both apparently keen to sign the World Cup winner but no official bid has been made by either club as of late.
