Barcelona defender Gerard Pique could make a return to the Premier League for around £15 million.
Both Manchester United and Chelsea are keeping tabs on the centre-half, with Louis van Gaal looking to beat his former assistant, Jose Mourinho, to the signing of Pique.
The Spanish international spent time at Manchester United between 2004-2008 before Barcelona re-signed him for around £5 million.
A return to Manchester United would also be accompanied by a mini re-union with van Gaal. Pique played under him as a Barcelona youth player during the Dutchman’s first stint as manager.
The 27-year old has scored three goals in 17 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga side so far this campaign.
