West Bromwich Albion will have to fend off interest from Premier League giants; Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea, if they want to keep hold of star-man, Saido Berahino.

The Baggies striker has netted seven times so far this season, making him England’s highest league goalscorer so far, which saw him win a international call-up to Roy Hodgson’s side for the first-time in his career.

Berahino’s seven goals leaves him as third top scorer in the league, only behind Sergio Aguero of Manchester City, and Diego Costa of Chelsea, and his impressive scoring record has caught the eye.

As well as Chelsea, Liverpool and United, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton have also been monitoring the West Brom star, and all could make moves for him next Summer.

Baggies boss, Alan Irvine, was asked about the potential sale of Berahino, and even he admitted that the youngster wouldn’t leave The Hawthorns for anything less that ÂŁ15m.

He said: “I would be absolutely astonished if anyone could sign Saido from us for ÂŁ15m.

“You look at some of the fees going around in the transfer market that’s just been, everybody seems to start at ÂŁ7m.

“Ross McCormack went for ÂŁ11m Championship to Championship (Leeds to Fulham). What the right figure is I have absolutely no idea and I wouldn’t make the decision as far as that was concerned.

“But ÂŁ15m doesn’t sound like a lot of money for a talented, young, English player with great potential who is playing really, really well in the Premier League at the moment and who is scoring goals. It would have to be higher than that.”
