London derby at White Hart Lane

Tottenham Hotspur take on Crystal Palace today at lunch-time with Spurs looking to make it back-to-back wins for the first-time this season.

The London clubs have both played five matches so far this season, with Tottenham on six points and Palace on nine.

Mauricio Pochettino‘s men have won one, drawn three and lost one, while Alan Pardew‘s men have three wins and two losses to their name.

Team News

Tottenham have been boosted with the potential return of three midfielders, with Mousa Dembele, Christian Eriksen and Ryan Mason all potentially available for today’s game.

Defender Eric Dier could be available despite limping off against Qarabag in the Europa League on Thursday.

However, Nabil Bentaleb will miss out due to an ankle injury.

As for the Eagles, Joel Ward is likely to miss out once again, but Damien Delaney should return from injury.

Welsh midfielder Joe Ledley will be back in the squad, but striker Connor Wickham is not available.

Form and Positioning

Spurs go into the game sitting 16th following a slow start, with three draws, one defeat and one victory, which came last weekend away at Sunderland.

A win could take Pochettino‘s men as high as sixth depending on the scoreline.

For Palace, they start the day in seventh place following three wins and two defeats, which came against Arsenal and Manchester City.

If Alan Pardew‘s men pick up three points at White Hart Lane, they could go as high as second depending on the score.

What are your predictions for the match then?
