Ligue 1 champions still want Arsenal manager
Paris Saint-Germain are ready to make a fresh move for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger at the end of the current season.
The Ligue 1 champions are well-known admirers of the Frenchman and have tried to lure him away from the Emirates Stadium in the past, only to be rejected.
However, with Laurent Blanc‘s deal expiring in the summer, PSG are ready to renew their interest in Wenger and are ready to offer him the managerial role.
According to reports in France, PSG’s billionaire owners, headed by Qatari businessman Nasser Al-Khelaifi, are desperate to see Wenger be the manager of the club and are willing to wait until the end of the season to talk to him.
Wenger Remains Committed
Despite the interest from his homeland, Wenger is still fully committed to Arsenal and is reportedly not ready to leave the club just yet, with some reports suggesting a new contract is set to be offered to him keeping him there until 2019.
Arsenal have been in transition over the past decade, with many fans calling for Wenger’s head due to the lack of silverware, but back-to-back FA Cups has certainly decreased the pressure on his shoulders.
The Gunners are now in a solid position and are ready to challenge for the Premier League title again, with some suggesting this year could be their year.
