PSV are very keen to keep hold of Chelsea ace Marco van Ginkel.
The 24-year-old has had a decent run over at PSV, so much so that the Club’s sporting director has stated publicly that he want’s the young lad there permanently.
It’s not clear if Chelsea Football Boss is willing to let Marco go and may want to re-call him at some stage.
But that is yet to be confirmed, the only Latest Chelsea transfer to be confirmed so far, is a 15-year-old youngster which is a confirmed first summer signing in a deal worth £500,000!
Marco Van Ginkel, however, has netted 15 goals in 24 appearances for PSV in the Eredivisie, so it’s something Conte would no doubt be looking at.
The big decision is whether Chelsea wish to recall him, loan him out longer or sell him to PSV.
One of the criticisms about Chelsea is that they constantly loan players out and a lot of them they end up doing nothing with, this is not only an issue for the player as they never know their future, but, keeping Marco on their list of Chelsea players and salaries 2017 has long term financial implications, it becomes costly, not only is the club playing the players wages, they are also footing the bill for everything else, accommodation, treatment etc
The decision falls on Chelsea Football Club now as Van Ginkel is set to return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, However, other reports say that PSV are already preparing talks over another loan deal.
“We are keen to keep Marco at the club,” PSV sporting director Marcel Brands told De Telegraaf.
“Both a loan deal or a permanent move could be an option.
“We tried to bring him in on an 18-month loan deal in January, but Chelsea told us they wanted to re-evaluate his situation during the summer.”
What do you think Conte should do? Is Van Ginkel worth keeping? or should the Blues let him go for good?
It’s a big decision to make, Antono has a lot to ponder, especially on the cusp of The Potters knocking on his door keen to snatch up another Chelsea star!
