Gareth Bale and Marco Asensio are both injured at the moment and Real need a quality forward now. Piatek has been in sensational form for Genoa this season so far.
The young Pole has scored 19 goals in 21 appearances this season so far. He is currently second only to Cristiano Ronaldo in the Serie A scoring charts.
Piatek is just the kind of lethal striker Real Madrid may need now which can help them improve. Los Blancos haven’t had the best of seasons so far as they are currently 5th in the La Liga table following a home defeat to Real Sociedad.
Piatek previously said that he wanted to play at bigger clubs and it is his dream to play in the Champions League. Real Madrid can certainly guarantee him Champions League football. Hence, a move to Piatek will be good for both club and player.
