Real Madrid have set their sights on Manchester United forward Danny Welbeck.
Welbeck has been revealed as a shock target, as Real Madrid actively seek a replacement for departing Alvaro Morata.
Morata is on the brink of agreeing a move to Juventus, and with top target Suarez opting to join rivals Barcelona, Welbeck has been lined up as a back-up for Karim Benzema.
However, some reports claim that Falcao has been identified as a priority this transfer window, but Madrid could make a move for Welback as it is said that the club admires his versatility in positions.
Reports suggest that United are unwilling to part with Welbeck until they can get cover in themselves.
It appears there are are a number of stars that need to align before this deal becomes a reality but it is claimed the Madrid hierarchy see Welbeck as the perfect team player who would be quality back up if needed.
