Real Madrid have finally spoken about all the transfer gossip regarding some of their top players. Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are just a few clubs that have been heavily linked with bids for players such as Ronaldo, Varane and Bale, but now Madrid have come out and spoken about these players and categorically said that no players will be leaving.

It isn’t unusual for Madrid’s top players to be constantly linked with movement or doubts over their future because Madrid’s players are usually the finest players in the world and this is also the case for developing talent across the globe.

Current links to the Bernabeu are Man Utds De Gea and Liverpool’s Sterling which does then leave potential opportunities for movement within their current squad.

Real Madrids assistant coach Paul Clement had been speaking with The Evening Standard and had this to say on Madrids star players.

“There is always going to be speculation and if it’s not (Bale) it will be ‘will Cristiano (Ronaldo) ever go back to Manchester United or will he finish his career here?’ or the young centre back Rafa Varane ‘He plays, he doesn’t play’.

‘Big clubs are looking at him’. The club really see him as the future.

“He’s 21 years old and a fantastic central defender. That’s the nature of this game and at a big club like this with such talented players.”

He was also asked to speak on the rumours linking De Gea and Sterling;

He said: “Real Madrid are always going to be linked with some of the best players and also some of the best emerging young talents.

“My understanding at the moment is that the club and manager’s very happy with squad of players – we haven’t got a big squad.

“But it is a squad packed with quality and there are no current plans for ins and outs.”
