Florentino Perez wants to sell Benzema
Karim Benzama is having a pretty average campaign this season for Real Madrid. Club coach Zinedine Zidane gave the Frenchman enough chances to prove his worth but couldn’t. He has just scored 8 goals in 34 appearances, his worst tally since he joined Madrid. back in 2009.
Benzema has been linked with a move away this summer as Club President Florentino Perez wants to sign a stellar striker during the transfer window. They have been linked with Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.
Real Madrid will demand €70 million in any deal for Karim Benzema this summer, claims Diario Gol. The President doesn’t want him to go for any less than that amount because he still has the years left in him and would be an valuable addition to any team.
The France International also wants to go a big club as he would like to prove that he is still a world class striker.
Arsenal are the only club to have expressed interest so far in him. Arsene wenger is still a big admirer of him but doesn’t want to pay €70 million for him. He is willing to pay willing around €40 million for the forward.
