Real Madrid are on the verge of signing Monaco midfielder James Rodriguez in an €85 million fee, according to reports in the Spanish media.
Madrid based Newspaper, Marca, have suggested that Real will complete the deal in the coming days or so, with the 22 year old currently in the Spanish capital to undergo a medical.
Rodriguez was one of the stars of the World Cup finals in Brazil, scoring six goals in Colombia’s run to the quarter-final.
It is also rumoured by Marca that Real have already prepared a luxary Villa for Rodriguez to live in, once he completes his eagerly anticipated move.
