The Dortmund man has claimed he has always admired them
Marco Reus has revealed his love of Barcelona.
The 26-year old has been linked with a move to Liverpool, due to the fact former boss Jurgen Klopp has taken over at the club. However, the German has revealed his love of the Catalan Giants and with Barca also keeping tabs on the star, could the Nou Camp be his next destination?
He said: “As a child I always played for Barcelona on the Playstation. The club has players of extraordinary quality and their style of play is great too.”
Liverpool lead the race for Reus
He backed his love of the La Liga club up even further when he claimed he would like to play with Messi and Iniesta. He said: “I always want to play with the best in the world, whether it’s Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. In midfield it would be Iniesta. All of these are world-class players.”
As previously mentioned, it is the Reds who are most linked with a move for Reus but Borussia Dortmund are understandably reluctant to let him go. However, if Barca decide to make a move, with the player’s clear love of the club, they could be resigned to letting him leave to join the Spanish side.
