Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand isn’t certain whether or not he will continue playing football after this season ends.
The 35-year-old centre-back is out of contract this Summer and has admitted that no contract talks have taken place as of yet between himself and the team.
The United veteran has lost his place in the starting line-up due to the progression of Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones, and he has now admitted that he has no clue where his future lies.
He said: ‘I don’t know what will happen. I’ve got to get through this season first. I hope I finish this one.
‘Last season I said the same thing. I won’t look any further than the end of the season and then re-evaluate it around that time.’
