Fans urging LVG to sell defender
Manchester United fans have branded defender Marcos Rojo a ‘liability’ on Twitter after the team’s game against Leicester yesterday.
Rojo has played at left-back under Louis van Gaal for the majority of the season, filling in for an injured Luke Shaw, but after a few dodgy performances, United fans want the defender sold.
One fan wrote ‘@LukeShaw23 The more I see Rojo, the more I truly miss you on the pitch with us! Come back now Luke and put Rojo back on the bench!
Another said, ‘It’s safe to say this will be Marcos Rojo’s final season at United, he’s far from United quality’
Another simply stated, ‘To be fair Rojo is a liability’.
It’s interesting to see the fans criticize a player to such an extent, and the decision to sell the defender may not even turn out to be Louis van Gaal’s after all.
