Italian giants are ready to pay €100 million

Roma are currently at 4th place in the league and wants to add reinforcements this summer to challenge for the domestic title next season. They are already looking at potential candidates and are planning to raid Real Madrid.

Roma are prepared to pay €100 million this summer to land three Real Madrid players, according to Diario Gol. There are three players that Italian giants Sporting director Monchi intends, Lucas Vazquez, Mateo Kovacic and Nacho Fernandez. He is hoping to take advantage of the trio’s desire for more playing time, with none of the three able to lock down permanent starting spots at the Bernabeu.

Kovacic has been linked the most with a move away from the club this summer. With Madrid’s midfield already stuffed, the Croatian is reduced to the bench and is not happy with the substitute appearances. He has already expressed his desire to leave and could be on his way to Italy.

Similar thing with Nacho. He has put some impressive displays whenever called upon but still behind Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane in the starting line up. He is also linked with a move away this summer.

Lucas is the only one who hasn’t been linked with a move away. But he could be tempted to leave as he knows that Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale are the stars of the club and he will be called for less important games.

Monchi believes that the amount he has offered will be enough to convince Madrid to sell the players this summer. The Spanish giants are also planning to buy stellar signings this summer and could use the money to further strengthen their squad.
