Samir Nasri is absolutely buzzing as West Ham United are prepared to host Arsenal in a mouth watering London derby.
The 31 year old signed by the London giants following his completion of the doping ban which he was serving for receiving intravenous treatment at a Los Angeles clinic. The attacking midfielder was pretty impressive in his debut as he inspired a 2-0 victory over Birmingham City in the FA Cup.
The 31 year old is expected to be named in the starting lineup when Manuel Pellegrini announces his team for the Gunners game. The two time Premier League winner does have a disciplinary problem but if he is guided in a proper way he could be a big asset for the team.
Nasri said, “We are blessed and lucky to be able to play every game with 60,000 people at the stadium. I was so excited to step out at London Stadium in front of those fans. The support of the fans is really important to us if we want to achieve things this year and I think we have to potential to do it. I’m looking forward to the next game, a derby against Arsenal so I’m sure the atmosphere will be even more crazy.”
