Real Madrid manager Santiago Solari has made it clear he has no personal issues with Isco.

Since Solari took over Isco has had very little chances to influence matches which have raised eyebrows. The attacking midfielder has been one of the most skill full players Los Blancos currently have but he certainly is not on the good books of the Madrid manager.

Despite not having a number of first team players with the likes of Toni Kroos, Gareth Bale and Marcelo against Real Betis the Solari decided to keep Isco on the bench and unleashed reserve striker Cristo Gonzalez.

The Spanish giants went on to win the match 2-1 with Dani Ceballos netting a late winner but questions have been raised over Solari’s decision to leave the midfielder out of the first team setup.

Solari said, “We played a serious game, we are who we are and we are all the team.

“It is made up of those who play and those who do not play.

“In no way is there anything personal.

“The squad is what it is and we all do our best, I as a coach, and everyone can play, they are all part of the squad

“Ceballos has these colours in his heart and it is always emotional to return to the places he left.

“Football has that magic of the law of the ex that always hurts, today it was in our favour and it is one of those things that are repeated every so often.”
