Spanish expert claims defender wants Manchester United move

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos is unhappy in Spain and wants to move to Manchester United this summer, according to Spanish expert Graham Hunter.

The centre-back has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bernabeu after contract talks broke down, and he reportedly wants a move to the Premier League with United desperate to land him.

Louis Van Gaal is in the market for a new centre-back and Ramos could be his dream signing, but it could mean having to send David De Gea the other way.

Both clubs are seemingly refusing to sell their stars, unless a player-swap deal is agreed too.

However, Ramos is ready to force an exit after Hunter has claimed that he’s still unhappy with life at the La Liga giants.

Unhappy Ramos

“Ramos’ attitude remains the same. He is unhappy, he has made that clear, and he has made his decision [to go],” said Hunter.

“It is not him bullying Madrid into a better contract. If he gets his way, he will go to United.

“But the deal is, there is two years left on his contract and it may not be able to happen. Real may refuse to sell him.”
