Liverpool are ready to cut their losses and sell flop Iago Aspas, with Sevilla ready to make a move for the striker.
The Reds signed Aspas for £7.7million last summer, but he failed to make any sort of impact during his first season at Anfield. He is now reportedly on the way out with Spanish side Sevila waiting in the wings to swoop for him. The striker is apparently keen on the move should Sevilla decide to make a move.
The Spaniard netted 4 times in pre-season on arrival, but since only scored one goal in 15 appearences for the Reds, coming in the FA Cup 3rd round tie at home to Oldham.
The future of Sevilla’s leading striker Carlos Bacca could be key in the situation, if he does leave then Aspas will be brought in as a replacement, or just to add competition to the current strikeforce.
