Striker – Graziano Pelle – Southampton

Fotboll, Premier League, Chelsea - Southampton

Another great performance from the Italian.

A goal and an assist at Stamford Bridge which helped Southampton win 3-1 against the Premier League champions.

For a big man, he’s so talented with the ball and his assist for Steven Davis was delightful. A little knock down off his chest into the path of the Scot.

What a signing he’s been for Southampton.

Striker – Theo Walcott – Arsenal

Theo Walcott‘s performance against Manchester United deserved a goal, but sadly he didn’t get one this time.

You can see how quickly he’s adapting to being a lone-striker and his performance yesterday showed signs of a real deadly forward.

His movement caused issues throughout the first-half and his two assists prove that he’s got the awareness around him now as well.

He used to get his head down and run and shoot, but now he composes himself, bides his time and has shown he can pick out the correct pass at the correct time.

When will Olivier Giroud get a start again? Not looking like it will be soon.

Striker – Sergio Aguero – Manchester City

Fotboll, Premier League, Manchester City - Newcastle United

We don’t really need to explain why we chose Sergio Aguero do we??

Five goals. You’re guaranteed a spot. Outstanding solo performance.

The only thing we can add is that it was tough to leave out other City players due to their emphatic 6-1 win, but we thought Aguero was enough considering he scored five of them himself.

Kevin De Bruyne could have been included, but Eriksen and Ozil were just as good and effective.

So there is the team.

A 3-4-3 formation for us.

What’s yours?
