After yet another hectic Premier League weekend, here at sillyseason, we have put together our ‘Team of the Week’.

The stand-out teams this week are; Sunderland, after their 0-0 draw with league leaders Chelsea, Manchester City, after they thrashed Southampton 3-0 at the St Marys Stadium, and West Ham with their narrow 1-0 win over flyers, Newcastle United.

However, only 11 players could make our team, and below you can see the stars that made it.

GOALKEEPER – Simon Mignolet (Liverpool)

RIGHT-BACK – Glen Johnson (Liverpool)

CENTRE-BACK – Chris Smalling (Manchester United)

CENTRE-BACK – John O’Shea (Sunderland)

LEFT-BACK – Aaron Cresswell (West Ham United)

CENTRE-MID – Lee Cattermole (Sunderland)

CENTRE-MID – Santi Cazorla (Arsenal)

CENTRE-MID – Leroy Fer (Queens Park Rangers)

LEFT-WING – Bojan (Stoke City)

RIGHT-WING – Raheem Sterling (Liverpool)

STRIKER – Robin Van Persie (Manchester United)

After another tough week, these are the 11 we went with at sillyseason.

Other noteable mentions were; Laurent Koscielny (Arsenal), Gael Clichy (Manchester City), Yaya Toure (Manchester City), Wilfried Bony (Swansea City), Michael Carrick (Manchester United) and Sergio Aguero (Manchester City).
