Jose Mourinho knew what Chelsea needed and he went out and sorted it.
Several sales aided the Summer spending spree but it was mainly Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa that have made the difference this year.
Chelsea would have probably won the title last year if they had a clinical striker, but sadly for Mourinho, they didn’t. After losing Demba Ba, Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto’o, The Blues signed Costa and also brought in Fabregas.
The two formed a deadly partnership and were instrumental from the start until December.
