Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic says he will insist Ryan Sessegnon to commit his long term future to the club.
The youngster has been one of the most highly rated youngsters in English football and over the last couple of years, his value has skyrocketed. There has been a concern in and around the club regarding his future and the club hierarchy wants to keep him at the club for the unforeseeable future.
Sessegnon was a part of Fulham’s promotional campaign last season and was also adjudged the Championship player of the year. Negotiations for a new contract has already started and both the parties are confident of solving the issue very soon.
Pre dominantly a left back the teenager has also been used on the wide flanks as a winger. Jokanovic said, “It’s not in my hands but I believe everyone knows he is important. For my side 100 per cent I will support and encourage the player to sign a new contract with us.
“I believe it’s a great idea and I can only encourage Ryan to sign.
“After this it is in the hands of Sessegnon’s family, agent and people around him. I will be satisfied if he makes this step. I hope we will find a way for him.”
