Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that he is looking forward to improving fitness levels of his players at Manchester United.

The Red Devils are yet to lose a match under the former striker’s tutelage and won their last match in the FA Cup against Reading.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that he wants his players to improve their fitness levels. The Red Devils won their fifth consecutive match under the tutelage of the former striker, their last one being a 2-0 win over Reading in the FA Cup. In the Premier League, Solskjaer’s men are yet to lose a match under their new manager after he took over the reins from Jose Mourinho.

Speaking to the media ahead of the match against Reading, the former Norweigan international said, “We can get fitter and we have to do that through the training sessions here, but Dubai is a good chance because now is the first time we get a week of work together. The ones who have not been in the squad have worked on their fitness.”

He added, “I still have pictures in my mind every January, the gaffer (Ferguson) with the stopwatch and he times us – all of those runs. That stood us in good stead towards the end of the season, so it is a time to work hard.”
