Griezmann wants move to England
Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann has revealed he would prefer a move to England if he ever left Spain.
The French striker has scored 50 goals since joining Atletico Madrid from Real Sociedad in 2014, and while he insisted he is in no great rush to leave, he was open about potential destinations if he was ever to move on from the Spanish capital.
‘I am in Madrid, we have a good team, I want to win titles,’ Griezmann said in an interview with Telefoot.
‘No transfer between Real and Atletico, there is a pact,’ he added.
‘PSG is interesting but not the Ligue 1. I prefer La Liga or the Premier League, but I do not have an objective to leave.’
‘I don’t believe there is any possibility of Griezmann going to Madrid, or to any other team,’ Cerezo told Spanish radio station Onda Cero.
‘There is a fantastic relationship with Real Madrid, a respect as people and as neighbours.’
