England manager Roy Hodgson is set to hand Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling an international call up.

The Liverpool winger is in line to feature in the International friendly against Denmark on 5th March at Wembley.

Sterling featured in the 4-2 defeat against Sweden in the November of 2012, but since dropped back down to the Under 21 side.

The winger found himself frozen out of the Liverpool side over the last few months , but manager Brendan Rodgers recalled Sterling to his squad, and the winger has been in fine form ever since.

The maverick winger scored, and set up an assist in Liverpool’s emphatic 5-1 win against Arsenal at Anfield last Saturday.

Sterling could play as part of an attacking trio, alongside Liverpool club-mate Daniel Sturridge and Wayne Rooney, against Denmark.

Another Anfield youngster on Hodgson’s radar is right-back Jon Flanagan.

He could get the call for Denmark if club colleague Glen Johnson suffers a further setback or Tottenham’s Kyle Walker – currently first choice – picks up an injury.
