Liverpool legend Steve Nicol has described Alexis Sanchez’s debut for Arsenal as ‘awful’ following the Gunners’ 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace. Many thought the forward performed quite steadily and well in his first game for the club but Steve Nicol was clearly not impressed by the Chile international.
He told ESPN: “His delivery was awful. Whether it was from set pieces or a rolling ball, they were just horrendous. They were either too long, or too short, or too high – he just never got one right.”
