As Blues Captain John Terry prepares to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer, the interest is starting to show.
Swans manager Paul Clement has now confirmed that Swansea will go after the services of Terry in an attempt to bolster the club’s backline.
As John Terry‘s Chelsea career is coming to an end, many are speculating that he will play on, while other reports say he will retire.
Terry hasn’t said much on the subject other than where he would like to live when he leaves the Blues.
However, Swansea Boss Paul Clement is hoping the Chelsea and England International veteran will join them and he has confirmed strong interest in the Blues captain.
“The fact is I know John, he is a top player and a free agent,” Clement told reporters. “So it would only be sensible to have a discussion with him to see if he would be interested.
“I don’t know if he has already decided on somewhere else. A lot of the time these things are already done.
“But if that is not the case and he would be open to a conversation, then I would be open to that as well.”
