Arsenal and England forward Theo Walcott has announced via his official Facebook page that he is to become a Dad.
The recently-married footballer posted the news on his page and shared it with his thousands of fans.
The statement read:
Me & Mel are happy to confirm we are expecting our first child, which is due early next summer. We are both very excited at such happy news just a few months after getting married. We are really looking forward to becoming parents.
Congratulations to both Theo and Mel on the great news!
