Chelsea defender Thiago Silva refuses to respond to speculation over his future.
The veteran defender has been linked with a return to his boyhood club Fluminese when his contract with Chelsea expires next summer.
The former PSG and AC Milan defender celebrated his 39th birthday last month and is still playing at the highest level at this age.
Silva signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of the current season.
The Brazilian defender has been a big hit at Chelsea since his arrival from PSG in the summer of 2020.
Thiago has still not decided on his future and whether he will continue at Stamford Bridge remains to be seen.
“This relationship has been going on for a long time, right. But I prefer to remain silent at this moment, as there has already been some controversy in the recent past,” Silva told Globo Esporte.
“I now have a family, I have children. So we have to think about this aspect too. It’s about seeing where things can bring us happiness, to finish this beautiful and successful career that I believe I have achieved.”
