AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has told Sky Sports Italia that today is his last day at the San Siro.
The controversial figure is set to complete a £16million move to Premier League side Liverpool, as Brendan Rodgers finally replaces the gap left by Luis Suarez, who joined FC Barcelona earlier this Summer.
Despite praising him earlier on in the window, Rodgers categorically ruled out making any formal moves for the 23-year-old, however, the club are now set to wrap up a deal, with Balotelli’s agent already in England discussing terms.
A formal announcement is expected either later today, or tomorrow, confirming the deal.
It’s believed Balotelli will sign a four-year deal worth £90k-a-week.
