The PFA Player of the Year is hot property

Eden Hazard’s brother, Thorgan, is confident that the playmaker has no interest in leaving Chelsea any time soon.

The Belgian international is on the brink of winning the Premier League title with the West London club. His performances this season are attracting interest from European financial powerhouses Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

However, Thorgan, who couldn’t make the breakthrough to join his brother in the Chelsea first team, insists his older brother is fully focused on his job at his current club.

Eden Hazard has a £200 million price tag

He also states that Eden isn’t tempted by a big money move which may be unlikely anyway. The Blues’ boss Jose Mourinho placed a huge £200 million price tag on the attacking midfielder.

Thorgan also believes Eden won’t leave Chelsea even if they wrap up the Premier League title, he said: “He wants to win the Champions League there and now he has signed a new contract and enjoys England.”

The 22-year old was referring to the five-and-a-half year contract that Hazard penned at the Champions-elect back in February.

Thorgan also added: “Eden feels good in the Chelsea team and plays with good players. He is very happy and he is winning trophies.”

It isn’t just about the football for the former Lille man either, he is comfortable on a personal level. Thorgan said: “His family is settled, he’s enjoying his time, he has signed a new contract to stay for a long time.”

The 24-year old, Eden, has so far scored 19 goals in 53 appearances for club and country this campaign. This kind of form is exactly why the Professional Footballers’ Association voted him as the best player this season, after just his second year as a Premier League star.
