If reports are to be believed, Norwich are on the verge of pulling off a great signing, in the form of Ajax defender Toby Alderweireld.
The 24 year old has been linked with a number of big clubs all around Europe including Liverpool and Tottenham, but it seems Norwich the side who finished 11th in the Premier League in 2012-2013 will be the side that secure his services.
The highly rated centre back has drawn comparisons to Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen, showing the same talents that the Spurs star has.
According to ‘Inside Futbol’ a fee of €8m has been agreed between Ajax and Norwich and it should be confirmed in the coming days.
