Veteran has suffered yet another long-term injury

Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky is set to retire at the end of the season after suffering another serious injury.

The 35-year-old returned from an eight-month lay-off against Burnley in the FA Cup last weekend, only to pick up a thigh injury which will now keep him out of action for around three months.

Rosicky has made just the one appearance for the Gunners this season, and with his contract expiring at the end of the campaign, it’s reported that he’s ready to call it a day and retire.

Retiring

According to reports, Rosicky has told close friends that he’s considering retirement after suffering the latest injury setback.

With his contract set to expire, Rosicky’s ten-year association with Arsenal is set to end this summer, and his long-term career could also end if he does choose to retire.
