Another player that’s only been at Chelsea for one year, but another one who should seek an exit already.
Remy was seen as back-up to Diego Costa last season, but was second-choice ahead of veteran Didier Drogba.
However, with Drogba leaving the club and Radamel Falcao set to join on a season-long loan, Remy will certainly drop to third-choice, meaning his game time will be extremely limited.
Remy is wanted by a couple of Premier League teams, with West Ham United strongly interested, and The Blues are already preparing for the Frenchman’s exit by plotting a move for Queens Park Rangers star Charlie Austin.
The striker is good enough to be first-choice somewhere in England, and it’s likely that he will leave this summer especially if Falcao does complete his deal.
