Belgium set for spell on sidelines after suffering ligament damage
Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed winger Nacer Chadli has suffered ankle ligament damage following their 0-0 draw with Liverpool on Saturday.
The Belgium was forced off early on during the game and it’s now been revealed that he will miss around six weeks of action following scans with the club’s medical team.
Statement
A club statement on their website read: “Our medical staff will continue to monitor his progress during his rehabilitation to determine when he will be ready to return to training.”
The news will come as a blow to Mauricio Pochettino after the winger started to new Premier League campaign in fine-form.
