Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be looking at FC Cologne stopper Timo Horn, should they need to replace Hugo Lloris this summer.
The 21 year-old German has impressed in the Bundesliga this season, and has been touted as one of many up-and-coming stars in German football.
Tottenham will do everything they can to keep hold of current skipper Lloris, who has been instrumental for Mauricio Pochettino’s men once again this season with a plethora of outstanding saves and the emergence of him being a key vocal figure in the dressing room.
The France national team captain has been linked with Manchester United should David De Gea leave for Real Madrid, and this has made Tottenham look at alternatives just in-case Lloris’s head is turned in the summer.
Horn would come in and battle it out with Michel Vorm for the number 1 jersey, however Spurs will be hoping they won’t need to have this debate come the start of next season as they look to keep Lloris out of the hands of admirers and have him remain at White Hart Lane.
