Mauricio Pochettino has been keeping tabs on Gray
Tottenham are having a poor campaign this season in comparison to their previous seasons. They are still fighting to finish in the top 4 in order to secure Champions League qualification for next season and the only possible silverware is FA Cup.
They are likely to be busy in the summer transfer window to augment their attacking options and are already targeting their first target.
Tottenham are planning a summer move for Leicester City Demarai Gray, according to ESPN FC . They were also interested in signing him last summer but Leicester City refused to consider any offers as they were willing to keep hold of him.
The 21 year old has made 14 starts in the Premier League this season, with another 16 coming off the bench. He has scored four goals and assisted three for the club. He is also the current captain of England’s Under-21s.
But Gray is frustrated with lack of regular starts and is expected to consider his future at the end of the season. Mauricio Pochettino has continued to keep an eye on his situation at the King Power Stadium and believes he can convince the winger to join his team this summer.
Spurs boss has identified Gray as a young player he can develop, much like he has with Tottenham stars Harry Kane and Dele Alli.
