Reports in France suggest that Tottenham are in ‘well advanced’ negotiations to sign on-loan Newcastle striker, Loic Remy.
Remy, who has made a big impact on Tyneside during his season-long loan from QPR, has been heavily linked with London rivals, Arsenal, and was spotted at the Emirates last weekend. But it now seems that Tottenham have emerged as front-runners for the signature of the Frenchman.
It appears Spurs will meet QPR’s £15million asking price and Remy’s contract demands so a deal could be completed soon after the player brings down the curtain on his Newcastle spell at Liverpool tomorrow.
