Tottenham Hotspur ace, Christian Eriksen will only move to Real Madrid, Juventus or Barcelona, according to ESPN.
The Danish playmaker only has this season with Spurs until his contract expires. He has been strongly linked with Real throughout the summer but the Galacticos failed to come forward with an offer.
Zinedine Zidane still seems to be thrown up on who to sign – Eriksen or Manchester United’s Paul Pogba. Tottenham have made reservations for the 27-year-old probable departure by signing Giovanni Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele this summer. Both players might not be exact replacements for Eriksen but they significantly improve Tottenham’s midfield ranks.
ESPN seems to think that Eriksen will only move to any one of the three picked out European giants. That would extinguish any of United’s hopes of signing the attacking-midfielder after expressing strong interests towards him this past month. Bayern Munich are also out of contention after they dished out an €8.5m loan fee to sign Philippe Coutinho.
Barcelona have cleared up some wage bill by sending the Brazilian out but they are yet to register an intent to sign Eriksen. Juventus are already stacked in the central positions after welcoming in Aaron Ramsey in the summer and keeping Paulo Dybala away from Spurs. It seems like Real is Eriksen’s only hope of leaving Tottenham.
