Tottenham Hotspur are the latest side to enter the race for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Adrien Rabiot, joining rivals, Arsenal and Chelsea.

The 19-year-old was strongly linked with a move away from the French capital after falling down the pecking-order under Laurent Blanc, but contrary to reports, the teenager signed a new deal at the club until 2019.

Rabiot was entering the final few months of his deal and was set to leave the champions on a free, but Blanc persuaded him to extend his stay and eventually, the midfielder put pen-to-paper on a five year deal.

However, the teenager is still struggling for first-team football and is still frustrated at the lack of game-time, and could ask the club to send him out on loan.

According to reports in France, Spurs have already contacted PSG about the possibility of bringing Rabiot in on loan for six months until June.

It isn’t understood whether Blanc would allow the deal to go through, but Mauricio Pochettino is keen on getting a deal done.

Arsenal and Chelsea were both strongly linked with the starlet over the Summer, as were Italian side, AS Roma.
