Speaking to the media after the match, the German gaffer expressed his delight on the victory. He said, “We made a great start. I really liked the quality and the rhythm. The only problem was that we struggled to get that second goal. I am especially happy with the performance of our midfield. Julian Draxler played very simple and disciplined. Dani also played very well. Always with that same mentality. It’s very important to go on a winning run.”
However, there has been a concern over the injury situation of team talisman and Brazilian superstar Neymar Jr, who picked up a knock in the match and was rushed to the hospital. Speaking about his injury situation, the PSG manager said, “I don’t have any update on Neymar. He has gone straight to the hospital. I think he was worried when he came off because it was the same right-foot that he was operated on last season.”
