The Italian champions had initially told Louis Van Gaal to have price negotiated before August 2nd, but reports from Chile, birth place of the midfielder, suggest that United have been given until August 15th to strike a deal before the speculation ends and Juventus cut off the deal.
The 20 time Premier League champions have been chasing Vidal all summer, and United are preparing a £40,000,000 bid for the Chilean, with Van Gaal hoping that will be enough to tempt Vidal to Old Trafford.
United have already acquired the services of Luke Shaw and Anders Herrera this summer, but United are still pursuing Arturo Vidal and hope to seal a deal within the next few days.
