United offered good deal on unsettled Madrid star

Manchester United have been given the green light to sign £50million-rated Real Madrid star, James Rodriguez.

With the Copa America Centenario set to conclude this weekend, Rodriguez, 24, will soon be free to resolve his future at club level following a frustrating season that culminated in him being an unused substitute for the Champions League final.

Rodriguez shares the same agent as United boss Jose Mourinho and is said to have put his house in Spain on the market as he prepares for a fresh start in the Premier League.

He moved to Real after being the breakthrough performer at the 2014 World Cup for his nation, Columbia. He signed for Madrid later on that summer for a huge €80million. Since then he hasn’t managed to establish a consistent spot in the starting XI, with players such as Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos and Isco all getting starts ahead of him.
