The Dutchman refused to make comments over the reports initially made by the Spanish media.
He said: “I cannot discuss that [Bale] with you. I only discuss with my CEO, not the media.”
Speculation has risen over the past week, with reports now suggesting that the Red Devils are prepared to bid as much as £125m to acquire the Welsh forward’s services.
Bale has been a sensation at the Bernabeu since his world record move during the summer of last year, most importantly scoring in the Champions League final to help Carlo Ancelotti’s side to their tenth European triumph.
It still remains unlikely that the winger will look to move again so soon, with Real likely uninterested in cashing in on the deal.
