The United striker has reportedly turned down a deal to join Besiktas

Robin Van Persie is thought to be reluctant to relocate his family to Turkey, according to talkSPORT.

Van Persie has been strongly linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer, with Besiktas appearing to lead the race for the 31-year-old.

And with current Besiktas frontman Demba Ba appearing to have secured a reported ÂŁ11million move to Shanghai Shenhua of the Chinese Super League, Besiktas need a replacement.

However, the Holland international, who has one year left on his contract, is happy in England and would only consider an offer if United offer no guarantees.

Van Persie out Kane in

Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane is reportedly being lined up by United with an official bid of around £40million reportedly in the pipeline.

The 21-year-old exploded onto the scene last season after standing out in the Europa League and went onto score 31 goals in all competitions.

However, Spurs are reluctant to sell their star striker and chairman Daniel Levy is believed to be holding out for at least ÂŁ50million.

De Gea saga

The latest reports claim United will not allow goalkeeper David De Gea to leave Old Trafford for anything less than £35million – a world record fee for a goalkeeper.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, United were willing to accept a bid of around ÂŁ25million for the 24-year-old, with Real Madrid valuing the Spaniard at ÂŁ15million.

The La Liga giants may decide to move for the former Atletico Madrid keeper next season when his contract expires.
