Manchester City defender, Vincent Kompany, has mocked Arsenal on his official Twitter account last night after The Gunners threw away a three-goal lead against the centre-back’s former-club, Anderlecht.
Arsene Wenger’s men were 3-0 up with just 30-minutes left, but the Belgium outfit came back with three goals, and the game ended 3-3, leaving Arsene Wenger fuming with his side.
After the full-time whistle, Kompany took to Twitter to tweet: ‘OMG ANDERLECHT’, before celebrity Arsenal fan, Piers Morgan responded with: ‘Pipe down Vincent’.
The two then exchanged in a conversation before Morgan asked if the centre-back would like to join the Emirates in a deal worth ÂŁ50m, to which the City captain responded with:
‘Great club, but no’.
Morgan then tried to persuade him by saying they’d offer ÂŁ60m and two ferraris, but Kompany dashed that idea as well by saying: ‘Those days are gone, I play for glory’.
