Manchester United have been encouraged to sign Daley Blind, with Ajax suggesting that they wouldn’t stand in the way should a big offer come in.
United have been continuely linked with the £15million rated defender throughout the summer. Louis van Gaal’s team have also been linked with Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria, as he looks to add width to the side.
And Frank De Boer admits it would be hard to keep a player if a big-money offer arrived.
“We all know that if there is a certain amount on the table we cannot refuse. Then we’ll wish him all the best,” he said.
But I have not heard anything about it, so I am assuming that he still stays for a year.
“I think it’s best for him, but on the other hand, the temptation is there if such a big club comes.”
Blind, who made 29 league appearances for Ajax last term, was spotted house-hunting in Manchester earlier this week.
