Arsene Wenger is planning a £10 million swoop for Barcelona centre midfielder Alex Song, according to the Metro.
Song, a former Arsenal player, spent six years at the club before leaving for Barcelona.
However, he has been told he can leave Barcelona for around £10 million this summer.
According to Spanish media, Song has snubbed a move to Italian Serie A side AC Milan to return to the Premier League, with Manchester United.
Though according to various reports, Wenger is confident that he can land his former midfielder, with Jack Wilshere coming under critisism in recent weeks.
